Serves: Makes six servings

Ingredients
1 3-ounce package Chicken flavored Ramen noodles
1/4 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Sesame seeds
1/2 Cup Blanched slivered almonds
1 large head Chinese or Nappa Cabbage (shredded)
4 each green onions chopped

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Crush noodles and place them in a large skillet with 1/4 cup butter. Over medium heat, stir to brown the noodles. Add almonds and sesame seeds until well combined and evenly browned. Stir often to prevent burning. Let cool
  2. In a large serving bowl add to shredded cabbage and chopped onions. Mix well. Add dressing just before serving.
  3. Dressing Recipe: Whisk together 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil, 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/8 cup white sugar and the seasoning mix from the ramen noodles. Pour over salad. Serve. Note: The vinegar in this dressing causes the salad to wilt fairly quickly. If you plan to have leftovers, reserve half the salad and half the dressing to combine for another meal later. It will be as fresh as the first serving.
